Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and GrubGuru Ltd., a company registered in British Columbia, Canada, which operates Snap AI Studio (snapaistudio.com) ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site, you accept them, along with the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Snap AI Studio.

Accounts

You must be 18 or older to use Snap AI Studio. Give a real email address you control, keep your password private, and use one account per person. You are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has access to it.

The service

Snap AI Studio gives you access to AI models for images, video and audio made by other companies, reached through API gateways (OpenRouter and fal). Tools are presets for those models. We add, change, reprice and remove models and tools as providers change their offerings, and a model can be unavailable or slow when its provider is. We do not promise that any particular model, tool or feature will stay available.

Credits and payments

Generations are paid for with credits. The credit price of a generation is shown on the Generate button before you spend anything, and model prices in credits can change for future generations.

• New accounts get 50 free credits once. Creating extra accounts to collect free credits is not allowed.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel them in the billing portal. Taxes may be added at checkout.
• Credits do not expire, and you keep your balance if you cancel.
• Credits are a prepaid right to use the service. They have no cash value, cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged for money, and are not refundable except as the Refund Policy or the law says.
• If a generation fails, its credits are returned to your balance automatically.
• If we change a subscription price, we will tell you before the next renewal at the new price, so you can cancel first.
• If you use your own OpenRouter or fal key, those jobs cost no credits and your provider bills you directly under its own terms.

Your uploads and prompts

You keep all rights you have in the photos, files and prompts you submit. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process and send them to model providers only to run your generations and operate the service, and to display a result publicly if you share it to the gallery, until you unshare it.

You promise that you have the rights and permissions needed for everything you upload, and that using it on Snap AI Studio does not break the law or anyone's rights.

Likeness and consent

Many tools start from photos of people: face swaps, headshots and photoshoots, kiss, hug and dance videos, lip sync, the baby generator and the age predictor. Those tools change how a real person looks or make them appear to do things they did not do, so these rules apply:

• Upload a photo of a person only if it is you, or you have that person's permission to use their photo this way.
• Tools that combine two people, such as kiss and hug videos and the baby generator, need the consent of every adult pictured.
• Photos of anyone under 18 may be uploaded only by their parent or legal guardian, and never for kiss, hug, romantic, sexual or violent content.
• Do not use a real person's likeness to deceive, harass, shame or impersonate them, and do not present a result as a real photo or recording of an actual event.
• Where the law requires AI-generated media to be labelled, label it.

If you see your likeness used on Snap AI Studio without your consent, email [email protected] and we will review and remove it.

Content policy

Do not use Snap AI Studio to create, upload or share:

• Sexual content involving anyone under 18, or content that sexualizes children in any way. We report this to the authorities.
• Sexual or nude content of a real, identifiable person, or any intimate imagery without consent.
• Content that harasses, threatens, bullies or incites violence or hatred against people or groups.
• Graphic violence, self-harm encouragement or content that glorifies terrorism or violent extremism.
• Deepfakes or other content made to mislead people about real events, elections, public figures or who said or did something.
• Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks or other people's rights, or that impersonates a person or organization.
• Content for fraud, scams, spam or any illegal purpose.

We and the model providers check prompts, uploads and results, automatically and by review. We may block a prompt or upload, refuse or stop a generation, hide or remove shared results, pause or turn off generation for an account, and suspend or close accounts that break this policy. Refunds for generations rejected by a provider's safety filter are limited as the Refund Policy explains, and we may reverse credits gained by abusing refunds. Each model provider's own content policy also applies to generations on its models.

To report a shared result, use the Report button on it in the gallery or email [email protected].

Using the service fairly

Do not scrape the site, send automated traffic outside the app, get around rate limits, content filters or payment, resell or share access to your account, interfere with the service or other users, or try to reach data that is not yours.

Results and ownership

As between you and us, you own the images, videos and audio you generate, to the extent the law allows, and we assign to you any rights we have in them. Results you create while on a paid plan, or after you have bought credits, may be used commercially. Results created only with free credits are for personal, non-commercial use.

The law on AI-generated works is unsettled, and a result may not be protected by copyright. Other users can get similar results from similar prompts. You are responsible for how you use your results, including checking that they do not infringe anyone's rights (for example a trademark or a real person's likeness that appears in them). Each model provider's content policy also applies to results from its models.

AI results are not facts

Results are generated by AI models and can be inaccurate, distorted, unlike your photo or unsuitable. The baby generator and the age predictor produce an imagined picture for fun; they do not predict what a real child will look like or how a person will age. Nothing on Snap AI Studio is professional, medical or legal advice. Check a result before you rely on it or publish it.

Our property

The site, the app, its code, design and the Snap AI Studio name and logo belong to us or our licensors. These terms do not give you any right to them other than using the service. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.

Suspension and closing accounts

You can stop using Snap AI Studio at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). Unused credits are lost when an account is deleted.

We may suspend or close your account, with or without notice, if you break these terms, misuse payments (including chargebacks for charges you made), put other users or the service at risk, or if the law requires it. Credits in an account closed for a breach are forfeited. If we close your account without any breach on your part, or shut down Snap AI Studio, we will refund the unused part of the credits you paid for.

Disclaimers

Snap AI Studio is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that results will meet your expectations.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of Snap AI Studio or of any result. Our total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 50 US dollars.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.

Indemnity

If someone brings a claim against us because of content you uploaded or generated, or because you broke these terms, you will cover the reasonable costs and losses that result, to the extent the law allows.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, Canada, unless the law of the country you live in gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts. Before starting a claim, email [email protected] so we can try to resolve it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For material changes we will give at least 14 days' notice by email or on the site before they take effect. If you keep using Snap AI Studio after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, stop using it and cancel any subscription.

General

These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Refund Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Snap AI Studio. If a part of them is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your account or these terms; we may transfer them as part of a sale or reorganization of the business.
