Every model in Snap AI Studio draws from the same credit balance, but not every model costs the same. The price depends on the model and on what it makes. This post explains the four ways a price is counted and where to check it.
Four ways a price is counted
- Per image. Image models charge a fixed number of credits for each image. Asking for more images at once multiplies the price.
- Per second. Video models charge for each second of video, so a 10 second clip costs twice as much as a 5 second clip on the same model.
- Per job. A few tools, such as lip sync and music, charge one price for the whole result.
- Per 1,000 characters. Text to speech charges by the length of the script.
An image model and a video model side by side
Nano Banana is a fast image model that is good at editing photos from plain instructions.
Kling 3.0 Standard animates a still photo into a short clip. Because it is priced per second, the length you pick changes the total.
Tools that run two models
Some tools do more than one step. The kiss video tool accepts two separate photos: it first combines both people into one frame with an image model, then animates that frame with a video model. Both steps are counted up front, and the Generate button shows the total.
Tip
To spend less while you experiment, start with the shortest video length and a single image, then scale up once the result looks right.
Where to check the price
The credit price appears on every model page, in the model menu inside the studio, and on the Generate button itself. Nothing is charged until you press Generate, and failed jobs are refunded automatically.
