8,000 credits is one month of the Essential plan, and what it buys depends entirely on which models you use: a lot of images on a budget image model, fewer on a premium one, and far fewer short clips on a video model, since video is priced per second. There is no fixed count, because every model has its own price. This post shows how to work out the number for any model in a few seconds, and where the site already does the maths for you.

The plans

All three plans and the free tier, read straight from the pricing code:

Yearly billing is 20% off and adds twelve months of credits at once.
PlanMonthly priceCredits each month
Essential$98,000
Premium$1919,000
Premium+$3540,000
Free$050 once, on signup

Premium billed monthly is $15.20 for the first month, then $19 a month, for accounts that have never had a subscription. The discount is applied at checkout.

Credits do not expire while you are subscribed, and one balance pays for every model and tool.

How to work out what a plan buys

Every model is priced in one of four ways. To get a count, divide the plan's credits by the price for one result:

  • Per image: plan credits divided by the model's price per image.
  • Per second of video: multiply the model's price per second by the clip length first, then divide the plan credits by that total.
  • Per job: plan credits divided by the price per job (lip sync and music).
  • Per 1,000 characters: for text to speech, multiply the price by the number of thousands of characters in your script, rounded up.

The model cards below show each price from the registry, so the arithmetic always uses the current number.

The site does this for you

Each plan card on the pricing page computes how many images the plan buys on the cheapest image model and how many five-second Kling 3.0 Standard videos it buys, from the live prices. When a price changes, those counts change with it.

Images

The cheapest way to spend credits is text to image on a budget model. At the time of writing, the pricing page counts images on Recraft V4.1 Flash, a fast text-to-image model made for drafts and trying many ideas. It does not take reference photos.

Tools that start from your photo, like photoshoots and headshots, use an image model that accepts references. Nano Banana is the default on most of them. It costs more per image than a draft model, so the same credits make fewer photoshoot images than draft images.

Premium image models such as Nano Banana Pro and GPT Image 2 cost more again. Use them for the final version of something you have already tested on a cheaper model.

Video

Video uses credits fastest because it is priced per second. A 10 second clip costs twice a 5 second clip on the same model. Kling 3.0 Standard is the default for animating photos, and it is the model the pricing page counts videos on.

Veo 3.1 Lite is the lowest-cost Veo and adds sound. Its lengths are 4, 6 and 8 seconds.

The video model comparison lists the lengths and shapes of every Veo, Kling and Seedance tier.

Tools that run two steps

Kiss and hug videos made from two separate photos run two models: an image model combines the two people into one frame, then a video model animates it. Both prices are added together and shown on the Generate button. A single photo of the couple skips the first step and costs only the video.

Small jobs

Some jobs cost very little and barely move a monthly balance. Background removal is one of them: a transparent PNG from any photo.

Audio

Text to speech is priced per 1,000 characters of script, so a short voiceover costs little and a long one scales with its length. Music is priced per track.

Spending a plan well

  • Draft cheap, finish premium. Test ideas on a budget model, then render the keeper on the model you like best.
  • Start with the shortest video length. Extend once the motion looks right.
  • Generate one image first. Models that return several per run multiply the price by the number you ask for.
  • Check the button. The Generate button always shows the exact credits for your current model and settings before anything is spent.

Failed jobs are refunded automatically, so a model error or a timeout never eats into the count. Provider safety refusals are refunded too, up to a daily limit.

Before you pay

New accounts get 50 free credits once. Compare that with the prices on the cards above to see which models you can try before choosing a plan. The full breakdown of how each price is set is in how credit prices work.
