Open AI Face Swap
Go to the AI Face Swap tool page. It runs a dedicated face swap model, so there is no prompt, no style and no aspect ratio to set.

Upload the face photo first
The first photo is the face you want to use. Pick a clear, front-facing photo with nothing covering the face. If you are not signed in, a sign-in box opens when you upload: create an account with an email and password, or continue with Google.

Upload the target photo second
The second photo is the one the face goes into. Its pose, hair, clothes, light and background stay as they are. The tool needs exactly two photos.

Check the order
The first thumbnail is the face and the second is the target. If they are the wrong way round, remove both and upload them again in the right order.

Press Generate
The button shows the credit price before you spend anything. The result appears in the results panel after a short wait.

Download or share
Download the swapped photo, or share it to the public gallery if everyone in it agrees. Nothing is shared unless you choose to.
Tips
- Similar head angles in both photos give the cleanest swap.
- One person per photo gives the most predictable result.
- For a video, make the swap first, then animate the result with Image to Video.
- Only swap faces of people who have agreed to it, and never use a swap to impersonate anyone.
Troubleshooting
- The result looks exactly like the target photo
- The model did not find a face in one of the photos, so it returned the target unchanged. The job still ran, so its credits are not refunded. Use a sharper, front-facing face photo with nothing covering the face, and a target where the face is clearly visible.
- The face went the wrong way
- The photos were uploaded in the wrong order. The face photo must be first and the target second.
- The message says "The model's safety filter rejected this request"
- The model provider refused the photos. Credits are refunded up to a daily limit.
- The upload says "File is too large" or "Unsupported file type"
- Use a PNG, JPEG or WebP under the size limit shown in the message.
- The generation failed
- The credits are refunded automatically and the result card says so. Try again.
Questions
Do I need to write a prompt?
No. The face swap model takes only the two photos. Everything except the face comes from the target photo.
Does it work on videos?
It swaps faces in photos. For a video, swap the photo first, then animate it with Image to Video.
Is face swapping allowed?
Only with consent. Do not swap faces of people without permission, and never use swaps to deceive, harass or impersonate. Model providers block many such requests.
