You can cancel at any time yourself. There is nothing to email and no reason to give.
How to cancel
-
Sign in and open your account page.
-
Select Invoices and billing. This opens the Stripe billing portal for your account.
-
Choose to cancel your subscription and confirm.
The Invoices and billing button appears once you have started a checkout on your account. If you do not see it and you are being charged, contact us from the address you sign in with.
What happens next
- You are not charged again.
- Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Your account page shows the plan and its status.
- At the end of that period, your account moves to the free plan.
- The credits in your balance stay there. Credits do not expire, so you can keep spending them on any model.
On the free plan, the hourly limit on generations applies again. For what you may do with results made before and after cancelling, see Commercial use.
Change plans instead
If you want to pay less rather than stop, switch to a smaller plan in the same portal. Stripe prorates the price difference. Monthly and yearly billing are both available.
Subscribe again later
Pick a plan on the pricing page at any time. Your balance, results and history are still in your account. The first month offer is only for accounts that have never had a subscription, so it does not apply when you come back.
Refund of the last payment
Cancelling does not refund the current period on its own. If the last payment is recent and none of its credits have been used, you may be able to get it refunded; see Requesting a refund.
