Most things people make here are portraits, photoshoots, headshots, product shots, art, short videos, voiceovers and music. All of that is fine. The rules below cover the few things we never make, and they match the content policy in our Terms.

Photos of real people

Upload a photo of a person only if it is you or you have their permission. Tools that put two people together, such as kiss and hug videos or the baby generator, need the consent of every adult pictured. Photos of anyone under 18 may be uploaded only by a parent or legal guardian, and never for romantic, sexual or violent content.

What is not allowed

  • Sexual or suggestive content involving anyone under 18, in any form. We report it to the authorities.
  • Nude or sexual images of a real person made from their photo, including "undress" or "nudify" requests.
  • Extreme violence, such as beheadings or mass shootings, and content that glorifies terrorism or self-harm.
  • Content that harasses people, impersonates someone, misleads people about real events, or infringes someone's rights.

How requests are checked

Before a generation starts and before any credits are taken, we check the prompt. On tool pages that means the full prompt the tool builds from the fields you fill in, which you can read under "Prompt sent to the model". Requests that match the rules above are stopped with a message that says why, and they cost nothing.

The model providers also run their own safety filters on prompts, photos and results. When one of them rejects a request, the job shows "Blocked by the safety filter". See Why was my generation blocked for what happens to your credits.

Shared results and reports

Nothing you make is public unless you press "Share to gallery". Every item in the gallery has a Report button that works without an account. An item is hidden from the gallery once 3 different people report it, or right away when it is reported for involving a minor, and stays hidden until we review it.

If your own likeness was used without your consent, use the Report button or contact us and we will review and remove it.
