Some safety decisions are automatic and some are made by a person. You can ask us to review any of them by email.

How to appeal

Email us from the address you sign in with. The address is on the contact page. Include:

  • what you saw: the exact message, or which gallery item was hidden,
  • when it happened, roughly to the hour,
  • the tool or model,
  • the prompt, and what you were trying to make,
  • why you think the decision was wrong.

We keep a record of each blocked request with the prompt, the reason, the model and the time, so we can check what happened.

What we can do

After a review we can:

  • unhide a gallery item, which closes the open reports on it,
  • turn generation back on for a suspended account,
  • correct your credit balance if a refund should have happened.

We do not share the exact words the prompt check looks for, and we do not make exceptions to the content rules in the Terms. Sexual content involving anyone under 18 is never allowed, and we report it to the authorities.

If someone used your face or photo without consent, that is a report, not an appeal. See Reporting content.
