Credits are the only unit in Snap AI Studio. Every model and tool draws from the same balance.
Getting credits
New accounts get 50 free credits once. Paid plans add credits every month, and a one-off top-up adds credits without a subscription.

Premium billed monthly is $15.20 for the first month, then $19 a month, for accounts that have never had a subscription. The discount is applied at checkout.
Credits do not expire. If you cancel, your account moves to the free plan and keeps its balance. Do credits expire covers the few cases where credits are removed.
What a generation costs
Each model has a fixed credit price: per image, per second of video, per job, or per 1,000 characters of text for speech. The Generate button always shows the exact price for your current settings before anything is spent. Full prices are on each model page.
Refunds
If a generation fails, for example because the model returns an error or the job times out, the credits go back to your balance automatically. Your recent charges and refunds are listed under Credit history on your account page. Refunds of payments for plans and top-ups are covered by the refund policy.
A request blocked by our prompt check is stopped before any credits are taken. A rejection by a model's safety filter is refunded up to a daily limit; Why was my generation blocked explains it.
